Julie Miazga
My name is Julie Miazga, and I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist (# P8219) in Alberta.
I received my Master of Psychology degree with a specialization in Clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy from the University of Warsaw (Poland) in 2023.
Taking the first step toward therapy can feel overwhelming, whether you’re struggling with anxiety, navigating a major life change, or simply feeling stuck and unsure of where to turn. Whatever your reasons for seeking support, I want to acknowledge your courage in reaching out. You don’t have to go through this alone – I’m here to help.
I strive to create a safe and supportive space where you can explore your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. My approach is warm, empathetic, and tailored to your unique needs. I primarily draw from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), and mindfulness-based techniques. I also have specialized training in chronic pain rehabilitation and experience working with individuals navigating the complex emotional and physical challenges of chronic pain.
Fluent in English, French, and Polish, I offer therapy in multiple languages to ensure you feel as comfortable and understood as possible.
Healing is a journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you. If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d love to help you move toward growth, resilience, and meaningful change.
